The project investigates expanding properties in metals, plastics and papers with the aim to combine a set of materials to create a dynamic surface responding to temperature variations. The dynamic behaviour is then described as a parametric digital model, which is then paired with environmental simulations of daylight factors and light distribution in a room. 

The research work was presented at the International ACADIA Conference (2010) in New York, US, and published in the proceedings with the paper entitled 'Performative Responsive Architecture Powered by Climate'.
