The project examines fabrication methods and computational models for combining two materials into bi-material composites with particular focus on the bonding temperature and the control of fabrication processes to embodied responsive behaviour desired under specific architectural environmental conditions. 

The research work reached the final of the International Architectural Research Competition, SKIN, organised by TEXFAB at University of Houston.

The project has been published in the International Conference ACADIA (2013) proceedings and exhibited at the Waterloo School of Architecture, Cambridge, Canada (2013) and the School of Architecture at University of Houston (2014).

The research work will be presented at the International eCAADe Conference (2015) in Wien, Austria, and published in the proceedings with the paper entitled 'Development of a Method and Model for programming Material Behaviour in a Responsive Envelope'.
